Staten Island nightlife: Shakespearean Theatre’s roast of Christopher Campbell

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — More than 100 socialites and creatives gathered Tuesday night in Grand Oaks Country Club, Huguenot, to roast Christopher Campbell of St. George.

The event benefited the Staten Island Shakespearean Theatre, of which Campbell serves on the executive board as vice president.

The fun-filled night of laughter, aptly and simply billed as “The Roast of Christopher Campbell,” included friendly ribbing by the nearest and dearest to the honoree, including Lillian Lagazzo, MaryPat Fossella, Scott LoBaido, Billy Beale, Brian Healy and Frank Duffy. Deputy Borough President Ed Burke was the master of ceremonies.
