Staten Island Shakespearean Theatre embraces facial coverings in ‘The Two Gentlemen of Verona’ production

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.– The Staten Island Shakespearean Theatre is embracing mandatory facial coverings in the costume design of its latest production.

Closing out a two-weekend run of “The Two Gentlemen of Verona” this Saturday and Sunday, the company has dressed its actors with white facial coverings stamped with designs that reflect their characters. The performances are taking place at Fort Tompkins within Fort Wadsworth, with socially distant seating.
