This acclaimed and timely play centers on Keely, a young woman impregnated by a rape who is being held captive by an extremist anti-abortion group to prevent her from terminating her pregnancy, and Du, the group member acting as her guardian and with whom she forms an uneasy alliance.
The play was a finalist for the 1994 Pulitzer Prize and was given its world premiere at the Actors Theatre of Louisville Festival of New American Theatre of Louisville Festival of New American Plays in March 1993.
